The stars shine brightest in the absence of the moon!
The stars will hide under the clouds if they have to,
but they’ll come out and shine anyway.
Even the star that seems to shine brightest,
there are others shinning next to it!
Even planets want to appear as stars.
Mercury shines brightest in the break of dawn,
Venus only wants to fit in with the stars at night.
Stardust is what we are made of, they say,
but I only want to be Mercury, a little bit of Venus, and a star nonetheless.
Free to shine whenever I wanted.
